The attacking and midfielder suffered a heart attack at his home in Buenos Aires.  This comes after a successful brain surgery earlier in November. He was to be treated for alcohol dependency. Diego Maradona scored 34 goals in 91 appearances for the Argentina team. He was the captain of Argentina when they won the world cup in 1986.
