Carol Mwaura is a Kenyan actress, content creator and gospel artist. She commonly known as miss Goretti a name she acquired during the time she was acting in the famous Tahidi High shown which aired between 2006-2017

She acted as a teacher where she was very strict to her students. Carol Mwaura apart from acting she is also a singer. She recorded Ningkurumirira a Kikuyu hit song which made her very popular among Kikuyu speaking fans, she also triples as online content creator where she has garnered thousands of followers.

Carol Mwaura was born and raised in Ruiru Kiambu county in 1988. She is currently 37 years old as of May 2024 during the writing of this article. After completing her primary and secondary education, she joined Kenyatta University to further her studies. She pursued degree in Teaching ( English and Literature).

After Completing her studies she started acting setbooks at National Theater and secondary schools. Due to her talent in acting, she landed a role at Tahidi High as a teacher and her performance was excellent.

Carol Mwaura’s career highlight is when she played a role in the popular Kenyan TV drama series, “Tahidi High,” from 2006 to 2017

Her performance as a strict and no-nonsense teacher in the show earned her a loyal following of fans across Kenya and beyond.

During her time on “Tahidi High,” Carol Mwaura became one of the most recognizable faces on Kenyan television and a role model for many young people. After the show was stopped at Citizen Tv, Mwaura landed a deal with a travel agency where she was to be granted a visa to go work in Norway as a English teacher.

According to videos she has been online on her social media platform, many fans have raised concerns whether she is still a gospel artist. She has been using vulgar language which seems not to sit well with her fans.

Things however didn’t go as expected when she realized she was scammed. She however found herself in Lebanon as house help. Carol went through hell in Lebanon where she was tortured by her employee. At some point she was forced to drink toilet water and eat toilet paper.
